द रूजू डटकम (THERUJU.COM) सार्वजनिक सूचनाहरुको तथ्यजाँच एवं प्रमाणिकरण गर्ने  डिजिटल संचार माध्यम हो । यसले आम नेपालीलाई तथ्यपरक र निष्पक्ष जानकारी प्रदान गर्दछ ।

नेपालका अनुभवी पत्रकारहरू, अनुसन्धानकर्ता, विशेषज्ञहरूको पहलकदमीमा संचालित द रूजू डटकम (THERUJU.COM) को प्रमुख उद्देश्य गलत र भ्रामक सूचनाहरुको तथ्यजाँच एवं प्रामाणिकरण गरी सत्य तथा सही सूचना पाठक, दर्शक र श्राेतासमक्ष पुर्‍याउनु हो । 

संचार माध्यमका रुपमा नेपालको सूचना तथा प्रसारण विभाग र प्रेस काउन्सिल नेपालमा दर्ता भएको द रूजू डटकम (THERUJU.COM) ले इन्टरनेशनल फ्याक्ट चेकिङ नेटवर्क (IFCN) को आचारसंहितालाई पालना गर्ने गर्दछ । 

नामको अर्थ: रुजु/रुजू शब्द अंग्रेजी भाषाको ‘Verification’ शब्दसँग मिल्दोजुल्दो छ । नेपाल प्रज्ञा–प्रतिष्ठान नेपाली शब्दकोशका अनुसार रुजु/रुजू शब्दको अर्थ ‘सक्कल प्रतिसित नक्कल नक्कल भिडाउने  र जाँच्ने काम’ भन्ने बुझिन्छ ।

Meaning of the Name: The term “रुजु/रुजू” is analogous to the English word “Verification.” According to the Nepali Dictionary by Nepal Academy, it means “the process of comparing the original and counterfeit to ensure authenticity.”
